Gratitude is a Growth Strategy

Jul 25, 2025 4:01 pm

Hey you,

This past week, I unplugged.

I was at Lake Powell—hiking red rock canyons, swimming in still water, stargazing under skies that don’t compete for attention.

More importantly… I was with my whole family.

Cousins. Aunts. Uncles. Laughter. Late-night conversations about crypto. Stories from our childhood. It was everything.

And as I slowed down, something came to me:

Grateful for where I have been,
Grateful for where I’m going.
Grateful for the world I grew up in,
Grateful for the world up and coming.

, gratitude doesn’t just keep us grounded, it gives us vision.

When you know what you’re grateful for, you start to see more of it.

You stop striving from emptiness, and start growing from wholeness.

3 Ideas on Gratitude and Growth

1- Gratitude is clarity.

It reminds you of what already matters, so you don’t waste time chasing what doesn’t.

2- Gratitude is strategy.

It makes you a better communicator, leader, and creator—because people feel when you speak from joy, not just goals.

3- Gratitude is fuel.

You don’t always need a bigger audience, you need a deeper connection with what’s already around you.

2 Quotes to Reflect On

“Enjoy the little things. One day you may look back and realize they were the big things.”
– Robert Brault

“Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others.”
– Cicero

1 Stretch for the Week

What’s one thing you’re so grateful for—it deserves more of your attention?
Write it down. Speak it out loud. Then act like it matters.

Take time this week to slow down... just long enough to feel what you already have.

That’s where real growth begins.

More soon—until then, speak boldly.
