In our September issues, we’ve got a real treat for you – a mouth-watering Toffee Apple Crumble recipe that’s perfect for those cosy nights in. Trust us, you’ll want to keep this one handy!
Did you know...there are just 17 days left until submissions and nominations close for the Above and Beyond Bromley Business Awards (The ABBBAs). If you haven’t nominated a Community Hero or Business Personality of The Year, please consider doing so. It's free and only takes a few minutes - it might mean that you make someone's year if they are a finalist or even a winner!
A Community Hero could be a teacher, an NHS worker, a friend or colleague who gives up their time to help others or someone who just goes 'above and beyond' to help their community. A Business Personality of the Year is someone in business who you think is deserving of being highlighted and celebrated. It could be that they always have a smile on their face, they go out of their way to help others or are actively involved in their community. Please think about nominating themand let them know that their efforts are appreciated.
Until next month, we hope you enjoy the read!

Shopping local is like giving your community a big hug. It keeps the High Street buzzing, supports local businesses and ensures your hard-earned cash stay close to home.
Plus, you never know when you might stumble upon that hidden gem of a shop or business. So why not be a local hero and spend your cash locally – and remember…
If you contact or use any of our advertisers, please mention that you saw them in life in Bromley, life in Northampton or life in Beckenham magazines first (it helps support us too!)
Want to get involved?
>>> Nominate a local hero Who deserves to be recognised? Maybe it's someone who helps others or gives their time to make the community a better place. Let's put them on a pedestal and let them be appreciated.

>>> Write a short story or 'Final Thought' Fancy yourself as a creative writer? Or perhaps you want to raise awareness of your hobby or a local cause? Now's your chance! The word count is 650 and we'll need a picture of you too.
