Your favourite community mags have landed! 🚀

Your much-loved September magazines have landed!

We've got some cracking issues as always! In Business, we look at why networking really does pay off, while in Technology, there's a great article exploring what AI means for the way we work. Meanwhile, our History feature takes a look back at the Festival of Britain.

And that's just the start! There's plenty more to enjoy, from Ask the Experts and What's On to puzzles with prizes. So grab a cuppa, have a read and see what catches your eye!

This month's cover stars! 🌟

This month, we're celebrating local people who each have a brilliant connection to their community.

On the Bromley cover is Scott Cloud from S Cloud Electrical, who believes that being part of a community means showing up for the people around you. With much of his work rooted locally, Scott shares why building trust and getting to know the people and families he helps means so much to him.

Featured on the Orpington cover is Justine Manuel, owner of The Drawing Room of Locksbottom and winner of the Best Hospitality award at the 2024 ABBBAs. For Justine, it's the personal touches – knowing customers by name, remembering their order and getting to know their stories – that can turn a café into a real community.

And on the Beckenham cover are Sue Rivas and Angela Himus, part of the team behind the much-loved Books in the Park festival. They share why bringing people together is at the heart of the event and what makes seeing families, neighbours and visitors enjoying Beckenham Place Park so special.

You can read more about each of our September cover stars and their stories of community in their respective magazines. 💜

Finally, with just 23 days left before nominations close for this year's ABove and Beyond Bromley Business Awards (The ABBBAs), remember that you can nominate for a Community Hero in The ABBBAs. It could be someone who treated you or a family member in the health service, a wonderful teacher, a charity worker who goes 'above and beyond' – or even a neighbour who helps make your micro community a better place to live.

You can make them feel appreciated by nominating them as a Community Hero for this year's Above and Beyond Bromley Business Awards (The ABBBAs). It's free to do so – and imagine their delight and surprise if they make the shortlist!

You have until Sunday 13th September (at noon!) to make a nomination!
