This year's ABBBAs

Above and Beyond Bromley Business Awards

The ABBBAs 2026: 281 days and counting!

Since last year’s awards, the committee has been busy behind the scenes reviewing feedback, refreshing award categories and fine-tuning plans to make this year’s celebration even better. As you can imagine, an event of this scale takes a full year to plan – and every month there’s something new to share.

This month starts with the announcement of our chosen charity for 2026 – Magpie Dance. You can read more about them on our new-look website which is being updated monthly with the latest ABBBAs news.

The 2025 event also enjoyed some fantastic media coverage, including features across Life In Orpington, Life In Bromley and Life In Beckenham magazines helping to shine a spotlight on our incredible local businesses.

Media highlights included local interest outlets including SE20 Magazine and County Chronicle magazine, as well as This Is Local London (LondonNews.com) and NewsShopper.

A HUGE thank you to John Newland-Jenner from JNJ Buildings, Cheryl Huggins from FaceClays and Amy Mitchell from Ollie Polly and Play Café who joined ABBBAs’ founder, Lauretta Wright, to appear on Jackie Groundsell’s 1230 TWC Business Radio Show. Jackie was also a judge at last year’s awards, so it was lovely to welcome some of our winners into the studio.

Have a listen to the show here!  🎧

We also asked attendees to complete a post-event feedback form, with the chance to win a free ticket to this year’s awards. Not only did the feedback help shape our plans for 2026, it delivered an incredible result – an NPS (Net Promoter Score) of 88.

For live events, scores of 60–70 are considered excellent, so this puts The ABBBAs firmly in the “unicorn” bracket for satisfaction.

We’re delighted to announce the feedback prize winner is:

✨ Dominique Pizzinat ✨

If you’d like to secure an early bird ticket, you can do so now via our website.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you again this November!

With our best regards,

The ABBBAs’ Committee

(Sadly we say farewell to PR Comms' guru, Kristel Valaydon from KV Comms, but extend a warm welcome to Mia Martin - our new committee member!)
