With the 1st industrial revolution, society went from working on farms to factories very fast due to advancements in mechanical production.
In the 2nd industrial revolution, mass production and assembly lines lead to job opportunities in places like automotive factories and jobs to support the war.
The 3rd industrial revolution resulted in digital advancements that made it possible to read this email on your phone or computer.
The 4th industrial revolution will focus on technologies to increase productivity, efficiency, and security in the workplace.
