3 Wednesdays. 3–4 spots. Who comes to mind?

Hi,
A quick follow-up after the boys week.
There may be a player in your basketball circle who needs something a little different right now.
Not another team practice.
Not another 100-rep workout.
And not another gym where everyone is doing exactly the same drill.
Someone who needs an environment built around learning the game.
That is what Ubuntu Basketball's ProLab is designed to be.
For the remainder of September, Coach Ermay is opening a very small number of places for players who may benefit from joining the ProLab environment in Amsterdam.
And he would rather find those players through people who understand basketball than simply advertise the spots everywhere.
WHO MIGHT COME TO MIND?
A gap-year player who needs a serious development environment while figuring out the next step.
A player between teams, academies, college opportunities or professional situations who cannot afford to spend months simply training alone.
A motivated youth player who needs more decision-making and representative basketball rather than another catalogue of drills.
Or potentially a talented U12 player who is curious, coachable and ready to experience a different way of learning basketball.
If somebody immediately comes to mind, keep reading.
WHAT MAKES PROLAB DIFFERENT?
ProLab is built around a simple question:
Does the training survive the game?
Coach Ermay combines more than 30 years of high-level basketball experience with Movement Sciences, Constraint-Led Approach and Differential Learning.
That changes what a session looks like.
Players aren't simply told where every foot must go.
They have to read.
React.
Adjust.
Finish.
Solve problems.
Different spacing.
Different defenders.
Different angles.
Different timing.
Different constraints.
Different solutions.
The goal is not to make a player look great in an empty gym.
The goal is to make the player more adaptable when basketball becomes unpredictable.
That is also why ProLab incorporates:
CLA + Differential Learning
Decision-making training
Game-scenario based development
Film-informed work
Shooting and finishing under changing conditions
Basketball IQ and perception
Mental performance
All inside a focused environment at Sportcentrum VU in Amstelveen.

THE REGULAR PROLAB SCHEDULE
The regular player-development sessions run:
Wednesday - 10:00 to 11:30
Thursday - 10:00 to 11:30
Friday - 10:00 to 11:30
These sessions suit players who have the flexibility to train during the daytime-especially gap-year athletes, professionals, college-level players, players between situations and serious developing athletes.
But Coach Ermay is also experimenting with something smaller this September.
THREE SPECIAL WEDNESDAYS
For:
Wednesday 16 September
Wednesday 23 September
Wednesday 30 September
Coach Ermay is opening a special 15:00-16:00 development slot.
This is deliberately small.
There is room for only 3-4 additional players.
And part of the interest is seeing whether a very small group-potentially including the right U12-level players-can create an unusually rich learning environment.
More touches.
More decisions.
More individual observation.
More opportunities to manipulate the environment around what each player actually needs.
This isn't intended to become another crowded training group.
The small number is the point.
THIS MAY NOT BE FOR EVERY PLAYER.
That is also the point.
ProLab works best for players who are curious.
Players willing to make mistakes.
Players willing to explore different solutions.
Players who want to understand why something works rather than simply memorize another move.
And players who want their training to become more transferable to actual competition.
If you know somebody like that, Coach Ermay would appreciate an introduction.
Or if the player is in your own family, simply reply directly.
For the Wednesday 15:00-16:00 sessions, please reply to this email or contact Coach Ermay directly before coming.
Availability needs to be confirmed because of the intentionally small group size, and Coach Ermay can also explain the per-session pricing and whether the environment makes sense for that particular player.
There is no need to force the fit.
The right player is more important than filling the gym.
Know somebody?
Reply with their name, age and current basketball situation.
Coach Ermay can take it from there.

Purpose sets the direction. Effort builds the player-every day.
P.S. If you coach a player who is taking a gap year, currently between teams, or simply needs a more challenging learning environment, forwarding this email may be more valuable than sending them another workout.
