Welcome to The February Camp!

We’re excited to have you join us for the Ubuntu Basketball February Camp starting tomorrow till Thursday!


This 3-day camp is designed to elevate your game through innovative training methods, elite coaching, and real-game scenario development using the Constraints-Led Approach (CLA). You’ll be challenged, pushed, and supported in your basketball journey, while training alongside like-minded athletes looking to take their game to the next level.






Camp Details

Dates: February 18-20, 2025

Location: Sporthal Ijburg, Amsterdam

Time: Please arrive and be ready around 9:45AM we start at 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM daily

Important Note: Attendance for all three days is expected to maximize your learning experience.





What to Bring

To ensure a smooth and productive camp experience, please bring the following items with you each day:

  • Basketball – Bring your own ball for hands-on drills and training.
  • Indoor Basketball Shoes – Proper footwear is required for all activities on the court.
  • Gear and extra if you sweat a lot!
  • Water Bottle – Stay hydrated throughout the sessions.
  • Snacks & Lunch – Pack a nutritious meal (a sandwich is recommended) to maintain energy during breaks.
  • Enthusiasm & Grit – Come ready to learn, push your limits, and engage in high-intensity training!



Daily Camp Plan

  • Day 1 & 2: High-intensity player development focusing on perceptual and decision-making skills in dynamic, game-like scenarios.
  • Day 3: A dedicated shooting development and coordination challenge to reinforce skills and techniques learned throughout the camp.

You’ll have access to multiple high-level coaches across three courts, ensuring that each player receives personalized attention while being challenged in a competitive environment.






What Athletes Will Gain

  • Effective Training Techniques – Learn how to train independently through structured drills and self-guided challenges.
  • Enhanced Coordination & Movement Skills – Develop an understanding of movement patterns that optimize on-court performance.
  • Application of Constraints-Led Learning – Gain insights into how constraints and guided learning can continue improving your game long after the camp ends.
  • Position-Specific Training – Guards, forwards, and bigs will work on skills tailored to their roles in modern basketball.
