Hi friends,

Jason will start whole-brain radiation Wednesday. He'll do a total of 10 sessions over the course of 10 weekdays. (He'll do 2 sessions on the first day, and we'll skip next Monday due to our vow renewal. His final session will be December 17.)

Today was a rough day with pain and tiredness. His appointments with his primary oncologist and the radiation oncologist wore him out. But we're so glad they got him in quickly so we could get this radiation plan in place. And he's feeling a lot better this evening than he was this morning.

Tomorrow he has no appointments, and he'll get a day of rest at home that he sorely needs.

If you're the praying sort, keep them coming. We'd love for this radiation, plus the shunt, to get him feeling much better, very soon.

To be honest, he's not the only tired one. I'm pretty exhausted. I'm so glad to be the one on this journey with him, but it's got me worn out right now.
