This is Jason responding to my request for a “quick smile” at a stoplight. 🤣

Our MD Anderson (MDA) appointment went great. The doctor agrees with the current treatment plan, so Jason will start chemo and immunotherapy tomorrow morning! He mentioned the possibilities of “cure or long-term survival,” and it’s wonderful to hear an expert in the field who agrees with our local doctor that a cure is a possibility. Next Monday, a team of about 15 doctors at MDA will meet to discuss Jason’s case and discuss the possibilities for future treatment (such as surgery and/or radiation). We feel great knowing a bunch of brilliant minds will come together to help guide our excellent doctor in Austin (who will continue to be Jason’s primary oncologist). If he participates in any clinical studies, that will happen down the road, not now.
