My kids were giddy on Sunday.

Okay, I was giddy too! My husband and I moved to the Austin, TX area in 2000, and our Sunday snowstorm was the most snow we’ve ever had here. (We only get any snow at all every few years ago, and usually most of it doesn’t stick.) This kept coming and coming for hours, building up on the ground. It’s pretty much gone now, but it was gorgeous!

It was also the perfect day for s’mores (with marshmallows toasted over the gas stove). Having exchange students, we’ve learned that international folks don’t always know what s’mores are. They’re simple...graham crackers (crunchy, sweet crackers), toasted marshmallow, and chocolate. Melty, gooey awesomeness.

I have one more bit of good news. I finished The Stone Eater, Book 3 of The Magic Eaters Trilogy, yesterday! Now I’ve started recording the audiobook. The ebook and paperback are slated to release on April 1, and I hope the audiobook is approved and released by then too.

Click here to check out the entire trilogy. Book 1 is just $2.99, and it’s also available on Kindle Unlimited.
