Ice in Texas

This is how it looks standing on my front porch today:

We’ve had yet another Texas ice storm. Schools, businesses, and some roads are closed. Tomorrow will be my kids’ third day at home (they’re not complaining!), but everything should thaw in time for school to start again on Friday.

I’ve enjoyed my schedule slowing down with appointments and commitments canceled this week! I’m thankful all our utilities have stayed on, and we have plenty of food.

A Long-Overdue Update

My Patreon just celebrated its first birthday! If you’re not familiar with Patreon, it’s a site where people can support artists whose work they enjoy.

You can become my Patron for just $3 per month, and right now, there’s a ton of content for you to enjoy for that price. (Even new subscribers get access to all new AND past posts. Eventually I may delete some of the old content, but for now, it’s all there.)

Here’s what you get for $3 a month:

  • The entire Faerie Fallen (YA/NA fantasy) audiobook. (Yep, the whole thing is there, ready to be listened to!)

image

  • 95 episodes of Beauty and Deceit: A Beauty and the Beast Faerie Tale Retelling, plus two new episodes a week. (The story will be wrapping up in the next few months, and it’s getting so good, with lots of romance and intrigue!) This serial story can also be read on Kindle Vella.

  • 24 chapters of the Facing the Sun (YA fantasy) audiobook, plus two new chapters shared every week.

I’d be so honored if someone who reads my newsletter became my next patron for $3 a month. Here’s the link to my Patreon!

Don’t stop scrolling, because the next three books I’m sharing are free!

This Week’s Free Audiobook (for Reviewers)

image

I have another audiobook to share with you that I narrated—and there are free copies available!

A Twist in the Rift is a novella, less than three hours long. There’s so much fun packed into those three hours! It’s about a college student who can use rifts to travel to other worlds. You’ll get lost in a tale of adventure, humor, friendship, and even a tiny bit of romance.

Meg Radiant, the author, is looking for a limited number of reviewers who’d like to download a free copy of her audiobook, then review it on Audible. (Amazon and Goodreads reviews are welcome too!) If you have an Audible US or Audible UK account and would like to request a free review code, please email Meg at meg.radiant@gmail.com

I hope you enjoy listening to A Twist in the Rift as much as I enjoyed narrating it!
