Hi friends,

We’re 4 weeks into hospice care now, and Jason has reached the point where he’s resting/sleeping much of the time. His pain is under good control, and we’re still snagging special time together as a couple and a family when he’s awake. Thankfully, he’s still doing well cognitively. 

He and I have both so appreciated all the visits he’s had over the past several weeks. Because his energy is now so limited, we appreciate you understanding if you offer to come by and we decline. You’re all important to us; he’s just focused mostly on rest and family right now.

My parents are here, and my sister will be here for several days this week too. I so appreciate all the support from family and friends. Special thanks to everyone who’s brought by food for us!
