What I’m Reading

I’m reading a genre right now that I don’t read a lot of. It’s a thriller … and I’m loving it!

I went through a phase where I read a lot of mysteries and thrillers, so it’s really been fun to get back to that genre. Better yet, this book is written by a real-life friend of mine.

Some of you may remember that back in July, my dear friend Dawn Hosmer passed away, and I traveled to Ohio for her funeral. One huge blessing from that trip was meeting several fellow authors.

Bryan (B.C.) Lienesch is the guy on the far right in the photo. We’d been connected on Twitter but got to meet in person in Ohio.

I started his book The Woodsman several days ago, and I’m loving it! It’s about a missing girl and a man who’s trying to find her. It’s suspenseful but also touching, and it really keeps me turning the pages. Bryan has no idea I’m sharing it in my newsletter (hi, Bryan!); I just wanted ya’ll to know about it since I’m liking it so much.
