{{contact.first_name}}, I kept crying today (Plus, book recommendations!)
Nov 19, 2020 7:35 am
I kept getting tears in my eyes today as I worked on revisions for The Stone Eater. I only have two chapters left to revise. There’s something about the end of a series that brings out my emotions! I love these characters, and wrapping up their stories...well, it hits me in the heart.
I can’t share the scenes that got me crying; they’re spoilers! But here’s something therapeutic about crying over fake characters. Living in a world with some very real problems, shedding tears over fictional stories is a nice way to release some emotions.
The Stone Eater is Book 3 of The Magic Eaters Trilogy. It’s due to release on April 1 (no fooling!) Pre-order it here. To start at the beginning of the series, check out The Frost Eater at this link. (By the way, The Seer’s Sister, the free novel many of you downloaded when subscribing to this newsletter, is a prequel to The Magic Eaters Trilogy!)
