Jason’s Rradiation is complete!

Today, he had his final session of radiation on his prostate and on the metastatic lesion in his back. He is hopefully now cured of prostate cancer (🎉🥳🎊🍾!), and we also hope the lesion is gone. 

A couple of the staff members at Texas Oncology’s radiation center invited me to help throw confetti when he exited his treatment. Unfortunately, I botched the video of the moment, so we recreated it before leaving the clinic.

Then, thanks to Carol, the amazing office administrator at Carollo Engineers, there was a little surprise party waiting for Jason when we went back to his office. They were blowing noisemakers and had cake for him!

We’re so grateful that this portion of his treatment is over. He’s still getting chemo and immunotherapy for his stomach cancer, but the radiation is done—and assuming it did its job with the prostate cancer, he’s back to being a patient with only one type of cancer!
