Guess what I finished today?
The audiobook for The Vine Eater!
I record and produce my own audiobooks. My studio is in my walk-in closet! Here’s a picture of me with my “gear.”
Audiobook production takes a lot of time. For this book, each hour of final product took me an average of 8 hours, 46 minutes to produce. (Yes, I track the time...and it used to take me a lot longer!)
The Vine Eater’s audiobook is 12 hours, 29 minutes long. That’s over 109 hours of production time.
And I love it! My degree is in theatre, and it’s fun to give my acting chops a workout again.
Interested in checking out my current audiobooks? I suggest starting with The Frost Eater. You can even get it free with an Audible trial membership! Click here or on the cover image below.
I’ve submitted the audio files for The Vine Eater, and now the distributor has to do their quality check before it’s available for sale. Hopefully that’ll take a month or less.
Let’s move on to some book recs!
