On a Personal Note…

I appreciate those of you who let me know how you’re handling our current health and economic crisis.

Like a lot of introverts, I’m doing well with staying at home. The uncertainty of everything gives me some anxiety, but I’ve adjusted to this new way of life. I know this time is far more challenging for many of you than it is for me, and I want you to know my heart goes out to you if you’re struggling emotionally, financially, or in any other way.

I’m enjoying having extra time with my family. The Vine Eater, the upcoming sequel to The Frost Eater is in the hands of beta readers right now, so I’m using this time to do marketing and other “housekeeping,” both literal and figurative! I’ve also taken some extra time to relax, which has been nice.

And … I made some final adjustments to the prequel to The Magic Eaters Trilogy, a book I wrote before I started writing The Frost Eater. I’ll have an exciting announcement about that book soon.
