Did you read and love The Frost Eater?

Happy Saturday, !
If you've read and enjoyed The Frost Eater, this email's for you!
IT'S ARC (ADVANCED REVIEW COPY) TIME FOR THE VINE EATER!
The Frost Eater's sequel, The Vine Eater, comes out on June 23! You can download your review copy by clicking here to visit BookSprout.
Please note, this is a sequel, not a standalone. Please only request a review copy if you've read The Frost Eater or plan to read it within the next several days.
My review period is short this time around. If you can't finish by June 23, I understand! I'd love for you to review by the end of the month if you can manage it.
Interested in pre-ordering a copy on Amazon? I won't argue with that. Here's the Amazon link. Paperback coming soon; audiobook coming in August or September.
TYPO-HUNTING CONTEST!
As I do my last-minute revisions, I usually introduce some last-minute typos! I love how reviewers find typos for me, so I'm doing a contest!
I bumped up my release date for this book, and I'm on a very tight deadline to upload the final copy to Amazon. (With a pre-order, I have to upload it early. With COVID-19, I'm uploading even earlier than required.)
So...Feel like binge reading this book this weekend?
Whoever can send me the most typos/errors by Monday June 15 at noon Central Time will get a free signed paperback copy of The Vine Eater once it's available! (U.S. only...but keep reading, international friends!)
PLUS...whoever is the FIRST to send me EACH error will get a signed The Frost Eater bookmark. This is open internationally! Even if you find ONE ERROR, if you're the first to send it, you'll get a bookmark.
What counts as a typo/error?
- First of all, I have to consider it as something that needs to be changed. Many "errors" are actually matters of style. For instance, I use some sentence fragments. Like this. That's a matter of style, not an error.
- Errors include typos, misspellings, missing words, incorrect grammar, wrongly used words, swapped names, etc.
- Errors also include contradictions within the text. (For instance, a character wearing a hat runs his fingers through his hair.)
- Errors don't include me killing off a character you liked...ha ha ha.
- Please note that trogs don't speak in past tense. So when a trog says, "I send," it isn't supposed to be "I sent."
How should you send me typos/errors?
- Email me at carolbethanderson@gmail.com
- Include chapter number and several words from the book so I can find the error in my manuscript.
What if you find errors after Monday at noon?
- Please send them to me, even though they won't count as part of the contest! I can always upload a new version of the book after it's published.
Happy reading, y'all! Again, here's that BookSprout link!
