My husband and I got away for the weekend as a late anniversary celebration. By “away,” I mean about fifteen miles from our house. We stayed in a local hotel in a shopping area. We relaxed, ate great food, and shopped. It was a wonderful weekend!
We stopped in a couple of furniture stores, and at Restoration Hardware, I found some bookshelves that made me drool. They’re currently out of the budget, but I’m definitely dreaming of getting them someday! Check them out.
Aren’t they beautiful? I adore the ladder that slides across. Maybe one day, they’ll make their way into my house. We’ll see!
I’ve got a couple of books to share with you this week. Hope you find one you’ll enjoy.
This Week’s Affordable Read
Check out that cover! Ruins on Stone Hill is sword-and-sorcery fantasy, great for fans of The Lord of the Rings or Dungeons and Dragons! Grab your copy for a great price by clicking here.
This Week’s Free Read
Station Alpha is a YA sci-fi novel. This is a review copy, so if you’re willing to commit to reading and reviewing this novel, click here to request a copy!
Speaking of review copies…
I’ll have review copies available for The Stone Eater in about a month! However, this is the third book in a series, and you definitely need to read the books in order.
If you’ve already read The Frost Eater and The Vine Eater, just keep your eyes open for an email announcing the availability of free review copies for The Stone Eater. And if you’re on Facebook, I’d love for you to join my Street Team group for review copy announcements and fun book chats.
But if you haven’t read the first two books yet, feel free to check them out. They’re quite affordable to read, and if you have Kindle Unlimited, you can read them for free. Check out the links below.
Grab The Frost Eater on Amazon, or listen to the audiobook through your Audible membership.
The Vine Eater is Book 2, and it’s on Amazon and Audible.
This Week’s 20-Second Story
Every week, I share a super-short story with you. Hope you enjoy this week’s! I write these on Twitter daily; you can follow me @CBethAnderson.
Enjoy stories like this? I have an entire book of them! Check out The Curio Cabinet on Amazon and other retailers!
