My daughter's INCREDIBLE pumpkin. (Plus book recs!)

Our family has graduated...when it comes to pumpkin-carving kits.
If you live in America, or somewhere else where pumpkin carving is popular, you probably know about those cheap pumpkin-carving kits you can buy at the grocery store. We’ve gotten them before. The blades have a tendency to bend as they cut through tough pumpkin skin.
This year, we got a quality kit. And it doesn’t just have a scooper and blades. It’s got what my 14-year-old daughter called “clay tools.” They’re for not just carving pumpkins, but sculpting them.
(They also look a little bit like tools of torture.)
And she made amazing use of them. Here’s her pumpkin: the Lannister House symbol from Game of Thrones.
Incredible, right?
Like you and me, she loves reading (including Game of Thrones).
