Quick update on Jason/MD Anderson

Hello all,

Jason's second round of chemo/immunotherapy was Monday. He really felt good leading up to it; his energy rebounded very nicely after the last round.

He's tolerating the meds well, though this time, he's experiencing a bit more nerve-related stuff in his mouth (cold sensitivity, etc.). This is expected with oxaliplatin, one of his chemo drugs. He's still working and feels pretty good.

Monday, a multidisciplinary tumor board (15 doctors or so) at MD Anderson discussed his case. They agree with the plan our local doctors have implemented (which is reassuring). They said it's too early to determine what may come next (such as surgery or radiation). After Jason's fourth round of chemo, we'll go to Houston for his next PET scan. So we plan to be there August 9 – 10 to get the scan and meet with a doctor for the results.

We won't know how well the treatments are working until then. We continue to pray, and our family appreciates your thoughts and prayers so much.

-Beth and Jason
