Happy Wednesday!
Thanks to those of you who wished me well when I was sick after getting my COVID vaccination last week. Thankfully, the worst of it was all over within a day!
By the way, I recently discovered that responses to my newsletter emails sometimes go to my spam folder, which automatically cleans itself out after a month or so. If you’ve ever responded and didn’t hear back from me, it was probably unintentional. You can try emailing me again (not as a response to the newsletter), and it’ll probably reach me.
Today, I’m excited to share an opportunity with those of you who love free review copies (ARCs). Katherine Macdonald is one of my favorite indie authors. She writes fairytale retellings. They’re romantic and witty, and she always gives her female main characters the ability to make their own decisions (something many of them couldn’t do much of in the originals). I’ve read three of her books and loved them all.
Kate is looking for reviewers who’d like to download a free review copy of her Little Red Riding Hood romantic retelling, Of Snow and Scarlet. This might be a good fit for you if…
- You like fairytale retellings and/or fantasy romance with some sexual content (suitable for older teens and adults, according to the author).
- You can read and review by June 1, the release date. That’s just under 2 weeks from now.
Click here to claim your free ARC copy if you can read and review by June 1. (There is a cap on the number of ARCs, so be sure to check it out soon.)
I have a couple more books to recommend this week too!
