A Fire Pit and S’mores

For Mother’s Day, I got a fire pit for our backyard deck. I love the coziness of sitting by a fire … but for me, half the fun of it is roasting marshmallows. Look at that golden marshmallow!!

And while roasted marshmallows are excellent on their own … I am a huge fan of pairing them with chocolate and graham crackers for s’mores. We’ve found that our French exchange students haven’t had s’mores before, and we’ve loved introducing them to this delicious treat. If you’ve never had a s’more, you don’t know what you’re missing.

Get cozy, whether it’s in front of a fire pit or just sitting in bed or on a couch, because I’ve got some book recs for you!
