I'm overdue for this gratitude letter. As our family goes through this hard time, you, our friends, have come through for us BIG TIME.

The meals you've brought us have taken such a big responsibility off my plate.

The food-delivery gift cards have allowed us to treat ourselves to delicious meals without thinking about the cost.

Your visits have reminded us you love us.

Friends who've listened to my long rambles over coffee have helped me stay sane.

Then there are the random gifts, the words of encouragement, the many offers of help.

We know we're not alone, and we can't thank you all enough.

Pic: The funniest gift I got this week. I'd posted something about being tired of making decisions, so my friend Deanne brought me a Magic 8 Ball to assist.  I just now asked it, "Do our friends love us?" and this was the result. SCIENTIFIC PROOF that the Magic 8 ball is reliable.
