There’s another book on the header at the top of this email!

If you’re not an author, the process of writing and publishing a book may be pretty hazy to you. It certainly was to me almost four years ago when I started writing my first book.

Along the way, I developed some systems that have worked really well for me. I work with good-sized teams of early readers (alpha and beta readers) who give me feedback on pre-publication versions of my manuscripts. I also work with a team of early reviewers (ARC readers) on each book, so I can have reviews ready when the book releases. Some of you have been on those teams, and I appreciate you so much.

In getting to know other authors, I’ve found many of them struggle with these “early reader processes.” So I decided to write my first nonfiction book, Early Readers Catch the Worms: How Alpha, Beta, & ARC Readers Can Help You Publish a Better Novel. It’s been a pretty “meta” experience, working with alpha, beta, and ARC readers on a book about...alpha, beta, and ARC readers!
