We spent a few hours in Houston today. Jason saw a PA for an introductory appointment at MD Anderson.  Monday, we’ll return to see an oncologist who specializes in gastrointestinal cancers. We’ll confirm the current treatment plan (or make adjustments to it), talk about whether there may be any clinical trials that would benefit Jason, ask him questions that have come up as a result of my compulsive over-researching🤓, etc.  Jason’s first chemo / immunotherapy infusion is now scheduled for Tuesday the 20th.  He’s healing up really well from Friday’s procedures. Had a few painful days, but everything feels a lot better now. We hit up a Rudy’s on the way out of Houston. They have huge smoked potatoes on the menu! We’ve never seen that in Austin. I got one with turkey + all the fixin’s, and it was delicious. Also had to snag a bottle of cream soda. Still sipping at it as we drive home.
