Jason Anderson had surgery (two minor procedures) today, and it went great. Here's what they did:

–Chemo port placement

–Diagnostic laparoscopy to look for cancer outside the stomach but still within the abdomen.

Thankfully, there was no obvious cancer found within the abdomen (outside the stomach)! It was so good to get good news. They also washed out the inside of the abdomen with saline and will test that. If they don't find cancer cells in those "washings," our options are wider for possible future treatments.

He’s pretty sore, but we’re home now, and he ate a good lunch.
