Let’s Have an Important Talk

Some of you who follow me on social media may be aware that I've been dealing with some burnout and have been trying to pull back on some of my writing goals. Today, I had a great session with my therapist (therapy rocks!) and realized it's time for a bigger change.

I need to get back to writing when I want to. It's been too much of an obligation lately, and that's not a healthy place for me to be.

My stories are important. I want to continue them (both Beauty and Deceit and Faerie Found), for my sake and the sake of my readers. But MY STORY...Beth's story...is more important. And I need to be doing things that give me joy rather than stress, when I can!

So...I'm still writing. But Faerie Found will no longer be on pre-order, and Beauty and Deceit episodes on Vella and Patreon won’t come as often. At some point, I may reduce the frequency of these newsletters too. I’m excited to reconnect with the joy of writing!

For all of you...your story is important too. I hope you’ll care for yourself this week.
