Hope your week has been as fun as mine! I’ve got a few things to share.

 Taking the Stage

My college degree is in theater, and I used to do a lot of plays. When I had kids, I tried one play (with a toddler and infant at home), and the rehearsal/performance schedule was just too overwhelming. So I took a hiatus...for over 12 years!

A few days ago, I auditioned for a community theater production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and I’ll be playing Titania...such a fun role! (And how cool is it to play a faerie queen when I have a faerie queen in the book I’m writing?!) Performances are in mid-July. I’m planning to have the time of my life!

A Bit of Travel

Our exchange student heads home in just over a week (boo!), so we’re taking two short trips to end her time here on a good note (yay!).

Today is the last day of school, and this afternoon, we’ll drive to Houston so we can go to NASA tomorrow. Then we’ll come home and head out again on Monday for a few days in San Antonio. I’m excited!
