Update on Jason Anderson:

Jason started radiation yesterday. It's in two small spots: his prostate and the new spot of cancer (metastasized from the stomach) that showed up in his back at his last PET scan. He'll get a total of 5 treatments over the course of 2 weeks. The goal is to eradicate the prostate cancer entirely, and eradicate that sneaky new lesion that broke through his systemic treatments. They don't anticipate many side effects from this radiation.

The last month or so has been challenging. Suffice to say, cancer treatment isn't fun! We're also navigating the emotions attached to a journey that, frankly, can be really hard.

There are still plenty of blessings. Jason is still kicking butt working full-time, and we're looking forward to taking a trip to France with the kids in June after Ana's graduation. We're loving spending time together, and we have so much appreciation for each other and our kids during this season.

It's been almost a year since his diagnosis, and we so appreciate your continued support on this long road.
