Thrift Store Finds
Anyone else enjoy thrift-store shopping?
I rarely go to thrift stores, and I need to go more often, because I love the treasures I find there! We went to Savers (a large thrift store) last weekend. My son seems to get holes in his jeans simply by looking at them, and he found three nice pairs of jeans for $3.50 each! At least when these promptly get holes in them, I’ll feel like I got my money’s worth!
I also found some small cups for lattes. Actually, I found two cups and nine matching saucers, which is pretty odd, but that’s thrift-store shopping for you. And these cups, it turns out, are the perfect shape for doing latte art. They’re easier to pour designs into than the cups I usually use. Now I need to go to other thrift stores and find more cups of this shape!
