Good, positive appointment with Jason Anderson's oncologist today.

Chemo starts on the 19th (though it could end up being slightly delayed depending on MD Anderson appointments). He'll get chemo every two weeks. He WON'T lose his hair with this type of chemo! 🎉 And while we can anticipate him having side effects, it sounds like it could be a lot worse.

Within the next day or so, we should have the results of the molecular testing, letting us know what types of other drugs they can add to the chemo. 

Some big stuff we got out of this appointment:

–There are potential paths to a cure; it all comes down to how well his body responds to treatment.

–With Jason's overall health, the doctor expects him to tolerate chemo well and expects him to respond to it. Time will tell how robust that response is.

–Survival / treatment-effectiveness statistics aren't relevant, since he's one person, not a statistic. 

We'll have a Care Calendar of some sort soon & will pass that along to you all.
