Ow.
Ow, ow, ow.
Recently, I messed up my neck. I attribute it to lots of hours editing my audiobook (sitting in the wrong chair), plus too much time on handheld devices.
Thankfully, a few weeks later, I’m 90% better. But I went through some rough, painful nights and grumpy days along the way.
Various things helped: switching back to my good desk chair, getting my husband to massage the area, ice, heat, taking over-the-counter pain meds, and…
...yoga.
I love yoga, and I now have a favorite YouTube yoga channel: Yogini Melbourne. I discovered her videos while searching for a yoga routine that would help my neck. (I chose this one, and it’s fabulous!) And I’m one of those Americans who thinks pretty much anything sounds better with an Australian accent.
If you happen to use YouTube for yoga, I’d love for you to recommend your favorite channels to me. Because I gotta keep this neck healthy so I can keep writing and recording books and devouring others’ books on my Kindle!
