Some of you know that last year, our family had an exchange student from France.

We plan to welcome another girl from France this school year. Of course, COVID-19 means everything is up in the air! Hopefully she’ll come live with us in September.

As for my kids, they’ll start virtual education in just over a week. Everyone in our district is going to school virtually for the first three weeks. My kids will likely remain virtual for at least three weeks after that. 

Making decisions during these unprecedented times is difficult!

One of the things I love about reading these days is that it’s a comforting escape. Reading helps me relax. It’s one thing that feels blessedly normal in these anything-but-normal times.
