When I was publishing my first book, my sister sent me this shirt:

It says, “Pay no attention to my browsing history. I’m a writer, not a serial killer.”

It’s perfect for those times when I Google things like how long it takes to strangle someone to death. The browsing history of an author can be a scary thing!

In this picture, I'm also wearing my new favorite mask. It says, “Just one more chapter.” I like it, because it works as a reader...and a writer!

This month, I’m reading plenty but not writing much. I’m working on the audiobook for The Vine Eater. But I keep having ideas for The Stone Eater, my next book...and for my next series! I jot down those ideas in a Notes app, and I’m looking forward to diving back into writing next month.
