Are you joining us for some inspired conversation?

Hey ,
Grab a coffee (or wine, or tea - still no judging here) and join us at the Scholar Sip Café for some inspiring and thought provoking conversation.
We're digging into goal setting and specifically how you can promote participation and agency in goal setting with children with Nea Vänskä, a senior lecturer in rehabilitation and a doctoral researcher at University of Helsinki.
As you know, Nea has done some amazing work co-designing a simple tool (aka an iPad or similar) to capture videos, photos, pictures, recording and writing that facilitate exactly this - supporting active participation and agency in goal setting, rehabilitation and in everyday life with kids.
We are going to be discussing her paper, Co-development of the CMAP Book: a tool to enhance children's participation in pediatric rehabilitation (Disabil Rehabil. 2022) and you should have access to it in your Dashboard. If you can't access it, just reply to this email and let me know, but don't miss out! It's going to be a great discussion with lots of clinical take-a-ways.
Haven't had time to read the paper? Yup - that's life! We know how many things you're juggling so Nea will be giving a short presentation on her paper to bring you up to speed quickly before we jump into discussions about how we can apply her learnings to our own work and other ways we can promote agency with the kids that we work with.
You still have time to check the start time and register now so you get the email reminder with the meeting link 15 minutes before we meet (always helpful 😀)
With oodles of enthusiasm always!
Mindy
PS. Can't make it because you'll be asleep? or treating? or getting a haircut? Just hit reply with your questions or comments and we can add them to the conversation because this meeting will be recorded for you catch later.
PS - I'm also going to be announcing our next Spotlight Guest at this meeting and you are going to be THRILLED when you find out who it is!! Let me just say that we are going to be digging into an area of practice that makes so much SENSE (and yes that's a hint!)
