Hey ,
When you get sleep right, everything becomes easier. No matter how many times I watch Sarah go through this with therapists and their families, it blows my mind. Simple stuff works 😉 but it needs nuance and wisdom and individual tweaks to make it really work - and that's what you'll get from this session.
Sarah and Rita problems solve night time positioning for Teresa, an almost 4-year-old with SMA type-1 whose in bed around 10 hours/day and developing a scoliosis.
Here's a few things you'll want to check out from this session:
- All about lateral supports - where to position them, sizing them, using them to address rotational deformities.
- How side lying impacts shoulder symmetry
- Reducing chest compression before addressing rotation issues
+ so much more

Things to Remember
- Focus on daytime positioning before addressing nighttime
