We're prepping for the summit so I decided to invite some of the Summit speakers to a Wired Weekly Workshop - We're going to be doing a DIY workshop using Descript to make any pre-recorded presentation sparkle!

You will be working on your own recording so you will need to have

1. Downloaded Descript
2. Recorded an audio or video piece, or just grab one from YouTube that you can practice on. 

We're going through the basics of

1. Stitching separate recording together

2. Removing the "um's'' and "ah's" without making your recording choppy

3. A few more advanced features like deleting the tangents/unnecessary long-winded chatter, zooming in and out of the slides and adding words, images or icons to emphasize parts of your presentation. 

We might also have time to go into how to use Descript to create snippets to share on your social media to get your colleagues excited about your presentation.
