Hey ,

Three important things

  1. Grab your seat at the Wise Table >> LINK
  2. NEW Wired Weeklies time change >> LINK
  3. Spotlight Snippets >> LINK

Wise Table

I love going on courses and going to conferences - I know most everyone in this Wired Collective is a course/knowledge junkie who loves it too - but here's the thing - knowledge doesn't change behaviour, and new ideas don't integrate - UNLESS we DO something different.

But it doesn't have to be complicated.

Sometimes that something different is as simple as having a conversation to connect the dots - integrate something new with something you already know - or ask a question that gives you clarity.

I'm pretty convinced the best learning happens in those spaces between the presentations and the lectures. When you sit down at the table for lunch and get into conversations with your colleagues about something you heard...

or even better - when you sit next to the presenter and have an opportunity to listen to them chat to their old friends at the table, when they let their hair down and start talking freely about what they really think - THAT'S where you find the gold!

And THAT'S why we have a Wise Table in our Wise Collective.

And you're invited!

Grab A Seat

The Wise Table is and opportunity to have in-depth discussions and conversations with field experts. To sit down with thought leaders to discuss challenges, ideas, controversies and anything else that might come up in a conversation centred around their area of interest.

Fi has invited Jacqui Barfoot, an experienced paediatric occupational therapist and researcher. Jacqui is committed to creating a shift in early childhood therapies where parents are at the centre, and rich parent-child relationships are sustained and strengthened to help optimise child development. Her research highlights the significance of collaboration, trust, and effective communication in fostering positive therapeutic relationships and promoting child development and participation.

Jacqui works in a number of roles including

  • Postdoctoral research fellow with the University of Queensland - focusing on clinical research projects that support parents who have a child with a disability
  • Reflective supervision for practising early childhood therapists
  • Occupational therapy for children with developmental difficulties
  • Training and consultancy for therapists and organisations

It's going to be a fun conversation!

Wired Weeklies

We are drowning in a tsunami of knowledge and information on the internet - which is bad news for us knowledge junkies who feel compelled to learn it all!

What's the antidote?

Conversations - hands down!

That's how we make music from the noise.

That's where we make the consumption of knowledge useful and meaningful.

Which is exactly why we have the Wired Weeklies here in the Collective.

Come join us for some energising and fascinating conversations. New times have just been added to the Dashboard for our last quarter of the year. They should be showing in your own timezone to make it easy to carve out some space in your busy schedule to connect and have amazing conversations with amazing colleagues from across the globe.

Check Times Here!

And last but not least

Spotlights have dropped - catch them in the dashboard along with some extra resources to make the info practical and actionable

Listen to a Snippet

That's it! You're all caught up 😃

Have an awesome weekend!
