Hey ,
I have a question or two...
- What are the potential limitations of using self-report measures for assessing interoceptive awareness in children?
- Did you every use objective measures of interoceptive awareness like heartbeat detection tasks?
- Are there specific interoceptive difficulties that are seen more commonly in different diagnoses?
- How do interoception difficulites change as children get older?
- Can you discuss more about the relationship between interoception and executive functioning skills?
- What strategies have been most effective in helping educators shift towards an interoception-informed approach?
- Can you elaborate on the concept of "interoception boundaries" and how therapists can help clients develop these?
- How do you measure progress in interoception work, especially for clients with complex needs or limited communication?
- Can you share more about how you've seen interoception work benefit clients in ways that might not be captured by traditional outcome measures?
- Could you elaborate on specific trauma-informed strategies you use when introducing interoception?
What about you?
Do you want to make sure we cover any of the above questions? Have a different one? Reply here, or bring your question tomorrow - I can't wait to see catch up!
With so much enthusiasm,
Mindy
