Got some questions? I've got answers ๐

Hey
Today's the last day to join us and I wondered if maybe you had some questions about joining The Wired Collective. If you do, youโre not alone. I get a bunch of questions every time we open doors to The Wired Collective so I've summarised them here in case you're wondering about some of these...
โWhat if I'm not really good with technology?โ
Answer: Well that's ok because I LOVE technology, and more than that, I love helping others figure out how to use it, so helping therapists get more confident with tech is a bonus feature of The Wired Collective. On top of that, we have a mix of experience in our membership, from newbie clinicians who are digital natives to retired clinicians who are tech-phobic and everything in between. It's exactly the collective wisdom of this community that makes it a supportive place to start developing new skills and confidence, whilst giving back by supporting others to develop in areas that are your strengths.
You can hear Jane Hamer discuss how she's conquered techphobia here >> LINK

โWhat if I don't use Facebook?โ
Answer: Facebook is a convenient place to hang out and we do connect for fun there, but the bulk of our membership activities happen off Facebook. The core activity of The Wired Collective happen in our private members platform that is not connected to social media at all, and during interactive Zoom meetings where we connect, share, learn and grow. If you can't make the live, it's recorded and you can continue the conversation on The Wired Collective Dashboard even if you weren't there.
The Dashboard is a fantastic space on the internet to connect socially without the distractions of Facebook advertising and other shenanigans. WE OWN the content and so it's a much more appropriate place for sharing sensitive things like case studies or yet to be published research information.

"I'm not going to be able to do participate over the next week / month. Can I join later?"
The Wired Collective is not a course where you have to keep up with the content - it's more like going to the gym to your therapy brain/muscles a boost whenever you can get there. Members drop in and out as time allows and the content stays available so everyone can catch up and just jump in wherever they are. As we head into our next quarter, we are focusing on coaching and the therapeutic relationship with Dr Fiona Graham.
We'll look at the literature, look at available tech, get back to basics to look at what's in our therapy toolboxes and what can we add to it. We spend some time on clinical problem solving and case studies all the while looping back around and wrapping up with consolidating the learning and taking it back into the clinic. You can take as much or as little from it as you like.
And yes if you join now you have access to ALL our past content. We have just finished an amazing deep dive into vision and CVI with Dr Bronwen Scott and the last quarter we focused on Bowel and Bladder function in pediatrics with Dawn Sandalcidi. We've also taken a deep dive with Billi Cusick, Mary Massery, Pia Stampe, Shelley Mannell, Kim Barthel and a whole lot of other amazing thought leaders.
The Wired Collective is not like other online learning and continued education sites. It is a supportive community of shared learning and accountability. This is the main reason we only open doors once or twice a year - so that we can really concentrate on building networks, relationships and clinical excellence.
So...
Long story short, if you sign up today, you get access to a treasure trove of conversations, resources and insights for as long as youโd like to stay in. If you miss this one, Iโm not sure when we open doors again - it really depends on how crazy busy life is (and if you join now, you will be grandfathered in at this price for as long as you stay, so no price increase ever )

โI don't have a lot of time, will it be a lot of extra work?โ
Answer: OK, this is a tricky question. There's no denying that finding the balance between busy clinics, busy lives and our need to be current and growing as clinicians is not easy. You will have to spend some time in The Wired Collective if you want to get anything out of it, but how much time you spend is flexible. The Wired Collective is structured to give you intentional, organized content that you can consume in a variety of ways, depending on your time constraints and interest in the topic. From 5 or 10 minutes a week to an hour or two a week -
I stay up at night thinking about ways to make it easier for you to know more,
Learn more and
Apply more
And you'll connect to an amazing, supportive community that just makes it so much easier to find the time nurture your passion to keep developing your knowledge and skills than if you weren't connected to this amazing, supportive community.
In other words, The Wired Collective is your secret weapon to being able to deliver the best service to the kids and families that come into our clinic. Realy, there's nothing more powerful than being connected to a group of like-minded passionate clinicians. You'll be amazed at what it inspires you to do next!!
