Want to know what we're covering in the Scite Masterclass?

Hey

Recently in our Wired Weekly we dug into the research around hypobaric oxygen therapy - yes - it's still a 'thing'. I haven't looked at research on this topic for awhile so it was interesting to find two recent systematic review/meta-analyses that gave conflicting findings.

How do we decide which review is right?

This is exactly what I intend to ask Sean Rife, PhD, Scite's co-founder and chief research officer who is joining us for a masterclass on Scite tomorrow!

We're also going to dig into refining searches so when you ask about the effectiveness of phyical therapy for hypotonia secondary to HIE you don't get answers about Therapeutic cooling, Platycodin D in rats and levetiracetam (this was the actual response I got from the Scite Assistant.)

All this to say - if you've been loving Scite, or you're finding it's not quite missing the mark, you're going to want to be there for this Masterclass to find out exactly to take advantage of Scite and make it work for you.

Sean is a social scientist, methodologist, and professor at Murray State University. Co-founder and Director of Research for Scite. He describes himself as an advocate of the open science movement and methodological reform in the psychological sciences, which are a few years a head of us in understanding the impact of evidence based practice on therapeutic clinical applications.

Sean's interests center on moral and political psychology and how that plays out in social media activism - which really means he is a super interesting guy and someone you definitely want to come hang out with at this next Wired Collective Big Group Meetup!

Can't make it? Just hit reply with your questions and I'll try and include them. It will be recorded and you will be able to search for your question in the video and jump right to it in the Wired Collective Hub.

I'm hoping you can make it live though - it's always such a treat to do these sorts of things as a big group!

Warm regards,

Mindy
