It's time to walk the walk 👣

Dear ,

There is NOTHING like a shiny new Spotlight to ramp my motivation levels right up and this shiny new project just happens to be the bread and butter of everything we do!

I mean - hands up 🙋‍♀️ who else became a therapist mainly because they wanted to help children learn to walk?

Just me?

And if you're an OT and your looking at me with a side eye because that's NOT why you became a therapist! And you're wondering if this next deep dive into standing and walking is going to be something you can dig your toes into (see what I did there?), then I have this to say...

YES! YES! YES!

Because how we learn to stand and walk is how we learn to do everything!

And digging deep into the sequence, components, implications, patterns, alignment, quality, consequences etc etc etc will be so helpful in seeing the common pearls and pitfalls that influence all movement skill acquisition #itsallconnected!

and so we're starting this sparkly new spotlight the way we start every spotlight, with a fun Quiz

And here's 6 reasons why you should definitely take this quiz!!

1 - Identify knowledge gaps: You don't know what you don't know

2 - Improve your therapy skills: The quality of our therapy depends on the quality of our questions - so check out these questions to see if there's any you haven't considered.

3 - Prime your brain for learning: Questions activate your brain's curiosity and problem-solving mechanisms, preparing you for deeper learning.

4 - Establish your baseline: So you can see your progress and celebrate your success.

5 - Nurture your growth mindset: Challenge yourself and keep learning.

6 - It's soooo much FÜN 😃 (at least it is is you're wired for learning like us!).

I can't wait to see what kind of a therapist you are!

with so much enthusiasm,
