A few days ago, I asked where you are with your visibility right now.

Today I want to tell you what I’ve noticed after working with professional women for nearly two decades.

The women who come to me are almost never struggling because they lack expertise. They are not struggling because they lack drive. They are not struggling because the market doesn’t need what they have.

They are struggling because they have a visibility problem they haven’t yet figured out how to correct.

And the visibility problem usually looks like one of these:

•    They are posting on social media and getting nothing back but compliments and likes that don’t convert.

•    They are respected and recognised inside their organisation but completely unknown everywhere else.

•    They know they have something valuable to offer beyond their job but have no idea how to position it as something people will actually pay for.

•    They are watching people who are objectively less qualified than them get the opportunities — the speaking gigs, the board seats, the consulting contracts — and cannot figure out why.

If any of that sounds familiar, the problem is not you. The problem is structure.

You don’t get paid just for being talented. You get paid for being visible, credible, and findable to the exact people who need what you have.
