Hi
Happy February! I have a question. Do you like a good cry when you're reading? I wrote a Valentine's Day short story a long time ago titled Bittersweet. It's not your typical romance... you know the characters meet and soon it's all heart flutters and orgasms. No, this is a gut wrenching story from the beginning to the end. I love the tangled premise of it...even the fact the FMC is not completely likable at first. She's a flawed individual to begin with now in an impossible situation that she's not handling it very well. There's lot's of growth for everyone involved, but the ending isn't 100% happy. It can't possibly be given the circumstances. I've put it aside for years, toying with the idea of turning it into a fully detailed (even more gut wrenching) novel. Reply with your thoughts on bittersweet a-typical romances or just use this poll.
