The Hydrogen Sulfide Instructor Development Course (IDC) is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills to become a qualified instructor for the Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) safety training program.

This course is developed and instructed by Master Trainer, Instructor Stan Smiley.

The topics covered include:

• the chemical and physical properties of hydrogen sulfide;
• the effects of hydrogen sulfide on the body;
• the hazard recognition and control of hydrogen sulfide in oil and gas, manufacturing and other industries;
• and the development of effective safety training programs.

Participants will also learn the fundamentals of instructional techniques, including the Train the Trainer materials.
