What's the worst thing I could possibly do?

I've recently stumbled upon this thread on Reddit.

"What Was The Worst Way You Saw Someone Ruin Their Life?"

And I recommend all of you go through the thread, if you have a Reddit account. It's got over 2400 comments but it's definitely worth it.

Here are some of the things that are the most reoccurring.

  • Drugs
  • Alcohol
  • Debt
  • Gambling
  • Crime
  • Pyramid schemes and scams

If you're not involved in any of these you can give yourself a pat on the back.

You most likely won't completely ruin your life.

However, it's always a good idea to be prepared for the worst and take steps to protect yourself.

Here are some ways to do that:

  • Save money and build an emergency fund
  • Spend within your means
  • Educate yourself about scams and pyramid schemes and avoid getting involved in them
  • Stay away from drugs and excessive alcohol consumption
  • Seek help if you have a gambling addiction
  • Surround yourself with positive people who support you and your goals

We all make mistakes and it's never too late to turn things around. If you or someone you know is struggling, there is always help available.

Stay strong and stay positive!
