What the Elite Speed Coaches Do

Coach ,

The first time I ever heard Coach Brian Kula was at a TFC (Track Football Consortium) event. His work in the private sector with football and track and field athletes as well as his history as head track and field coach at Valor Christian (Co) gives him a variety of experiences to share with coaches. In this first clip, he shares his revolutionary bounce/fire series.

Chris Korfist was one of the first coaches who changed the way I saw the weight room. As a strength coach, I’m challenged with balancing what's good and bad and how much is necessary to support my athletes. In this next clip Chris discusses different ways to overload what you can’t in movement using the weightroom.

What we know about sprinting and performance is only a fraction of what affects how we move.

Dan Fichter was one of the first people who exposed me to the brain and how it impacts human movement. It was at that first TFC that my life changed when I heard his unique perspective. In this next clip he discusses gait and how we move.

Shout out to these coaches for sharing key insights to coaching speed. And thank you for TFC for making this happen. Their recent event of 20 of the best speed coaches was a huge success and you can get access to all of the replays here --->
