The inaugural National Javelin Summit last winter was the first of its kind. If you’re having javelin throw withdrawals like I am, I have good news. Tonight the event returns for the second straight year with an incredible lineup. 

Sean Furey, a former elite javelin thrower and self-proclaimed “jav-aholic” kicks everything off tonight at 6:00PM CST. His first of two topics is titled “Javelin Fundamentals: Guidelines for Setting Up an Effective Throwing Session.

Coach Furey was a part of the event last year and we asked him back because he’s just that good. Here’s a clip from last year's event I want you to check out to get a feel for our first presenter tonight and give you that javelin taste so many of you desire.

A variety of topics and opportunities exist during this year's event to build on the information learned last year or form new knowledge and ideas around the new content this year. It’s not too late to sign up for live or recorded replays of this year's event!
