What is Business Grant?

I won my first grant and it was training at Lagos Business School worth over N1million. It was sponsored by Diamond bank. After that, I won Tony Elumelu Grant and quite other grants like that.

Business grants are typically awarded based on specific criteria, such as the type of business, the location of the business, the size of the business, and the purpose of the grant. Some grants may be available only to businesses in certain industries or sectors, while others may be open to businesses of all types.

To apply for a business grant, you will typically need to fill out an application and provide detailed information about your business, including your business plan, financial projections, and a description of how the grant will be used. You may also need to provide documentation, such as financial statements, tax returns, and other materials, depending on the grant program.

I have coached quite a no of people to win grants and the biggest problem I noticed was that people are not well positioned for it. They want free money, but they are not ready to learn how to improve their capacity to win grants.

, It's important to carefully research the grant programs that are available to your business, as well as the eligibility requirements and application process for each one. Working with a grant coach or consultant can help you increase your chances of success in securing a grant for your business.
